Mostly Me

On the way into Dharchula, an open air temple

From left, Paul Seefeldt, my childhood buddy, Ruthie Warren, Gordy, Beth Ann Warren, Dale Seefeldt and me.

We loved it when it snowed.

Probably around first furlough, ’55-’56.

’61 or thereabouts.

Gopalpur, Bay of Bengal, winter of ’64 or so.

Me on the left. This is at Redburn Oakes winter of ’61 or ’62. In Gordy’s hands (second from left) and also in Norman’s (far right) is a device to weave yarn into something resembling a round rope. It was fun doing the weaving, but we never figured out what to do with all the rope it generated.

Paul Seefeldt and I on a winter day with nothing better to do. No, I did not play a guitar.

The prayer card my folks used during the furlough of ’62-’63. These were given away by the thousands in hopes that a few would get stuck on fridges as a reminder to pray for their ministry. With four boys, boy did they ever need prayer!
